Privacy Policy

The short version: Dinkly has no accounts, collects no email addresses, and does not sell personal information. Everything you do on this site — quiz results, game scores, your daily card — stays in your own browser.

1. Information we do not collect

• No account registration, and therefore no names, passwords or phone numbers.
• No email addresses, and no newsletter or mailing list of any kind.
• No contact lists, camera, microphone or precise location access.
• No upload of quiz answers, game results, oracle questions or draw history to our servers.

2. Information stored in your browser

Some features remember you between visits using local storage — a mechanism that keeps data on your own device. Dinkly currently stores:

• Your best Dink Match time and move count.
• The result of your most recent personality quiz, so we can avoid re-asking.
• Interface preferences, if any are added.

None of this is transmitted to us. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes all of it.

3. Server logs and hosting

The site is served as static files by a content delivery network. Like almost all web hosting, our provider may automatically record standard technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer and user-agent string, in aggregate logs used for security and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.

4. Advertising

Dinkly is free and supported by advertising. We use third-party advertising partners, currently including Google AdSense. These partners may:

• Use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure advertising.
• Serve personalised advertising based on prior visits to this and other websites.
• Collect device and approximate location information for ad delivery and fraud prevention.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Directly sold placements on this site are labelled Sponsored. We do not run pop-ups, interstitials, or audio advertising inside our ambient sound player.

5. Analytics

If analytics tooling is enabled, it is used only in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to build individual profiles, and it is not linked to any identifying information.

6. Children

Dinkly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, there is nothing to delete on request — but if you believe a child's data has been captured by an advertising partner, contact us and we will investigate.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to personalised advertising. Because we do not hold personal data about you, the practical route for advertising-related requests is directly through our advertising partners' own controls (see section 4).

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if we add accounts or a newsletter — the change will be reflected here with an updated date, and it will be described plainly rather than buried.
